here are the pictures for the previous Show and Tell- My Favourite Underground Animal. Many of the children have started using PowerPoint Slides for their show and tell. This is highly encouraged but please bear in mind that there should be no sentences in the slides although a variety of pictures are welcome.
The children have some difficulty delivering their lines, sometimes jerky or halting sentences. Please try to keep sentences short and interesting to aid memory. I have a few instances where they finish the presentation but come back saying that they missed out a few sentences. There will be no allowances made for the exam. Please bear this in mind. Another area to improve on would be the posture and eye contact. The kids tend to stick their attention to their materials or the ceiling without any/much eye contact. The kids would be penalised if he/she does this for the exam. For more information on assessment criteria, please refer to the SEED Examination Letter [page 4] that was given out in late Term 1.
